Work Experience

We are pleased to offer our Theatre Work Experience programme at the Theatre Royal and Royal Concert Hall Nottingham (TRCH) this summer from Monday 6 - Friday 10 July.

This opportunity is aimed at Year 10 and Year 12 students who are interested in theatre, performance, and the creative industries, and who would like to gain an insight into how a large-scale professional receiving-house venue operates. Across the five days, participants will be hosted in a range of departments (to be confirmed), which may include:

Marketing & Press
Programming
Creative Learning
Front of House
Stage Door
Heritage & Archives
Wardrobe

Participants will experience different aspects of theatre‑making and venue operations, learning how departments work together to support productions, artists, and audiences.

Participants must be available for all five days.

How to apply: Applications are open now and will close on Monday 1 June. Successful applicants will be notified by Friday 5 June. Places are limited, and we will not be able to offer a placement to all applicants.
