Wheelchair User Spaces

Wheelchair user spaces are located in the Stalls and the Dress Circle of the Theatre Royal, and in the Stalls and Tier 1 of the Royal Concert Hall. Scooters and large wheelchairs may require two standard size wheelchair spaces. For those wishing to transfer from their wheelchair into an auditorium seat, we recommend booking in the Stalls of both the Theatre Royal and the Royal Concert Hall. There is level access to the Theatre Royal through Yarn bar located on South Sherwood Street. Ramped access to the Theatre Royal is on the far left of the main entrance on Theatre Square. This door is push-button activated.

There is a lift in the Theatre Royal that services all levels of the venue. We advise those who require step-free access to book seats in the Stalls, as there are stairs to reach all seating inside the auditorium on the Dress Circle, Upper Circle and Balcony levels.
