The Drivetime Choir
The Drivetime Choir offers the unique opportunity to sing in a huge chorus with the world-renowned Hallé Orchestra in the Royal Concert Hall. The choir is open to all, whether you're a seasoned singer or a first-timer - you just need to attend at least one rehearsal in the week before the concert. Drivetime Choir members also get tickets to see the concert for just £5.

"I haven't sung as part of a choir since I left school and I absolutely loved it! It was spine-tinglingly good." - One Drivetime Choir member after performing at the Royal Concert Hall
Rehearsals are at the Royal Concert Hall from 7.00pm to 9.00pm on Monday 10 June and Wednesday 12 June. These informal and fun sessions are led by Music for Everyone's Director, Angela Kay. For the first time, we are also offering an optional beginner's session on Monday 3 June from 7.00pm to 9.00pm. There's also a final rehearsal on 14 June led by the Hallé's Assistant Conductor, Jamie Phillips, from 5.00pm - 5.30pm.
The last time we did this over 600 people made a fantastic sound together. This year we want to go even further and create a choir of over 1000 people. So tell your friends, family and colleagues and get together to take part in something really special. And, who knows? - you might discover your inner singer!
