What happens when you fall in love with the wrong person?

Men dress as women then disguise themselves as boys, twins are mistaken for each other, suitors compete and separated lovers are always joyously reunited in the end ... that's according to Shakespeare anyway!

Acclaimed theatre company Propeller will be performing their hugely successful productions of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night and The Taming of The Shrew at the Theatre Royal from 29 May to 1 June.

Two of Shakespeare's best-loved comedies of love, confusion and sexual politics, Twelfth Night and The Taming of the Shrew are dark and delightful, beautiful yet bittersweet - and very, very funny.

Both plays are directed by Propeller's artistic director Edward Hall and feature an all-male company of actors.  With men playing all the women - as they would have done in Shakespeare's time - prepare to sit back, let your imagination take hold and see comedy which pulls absolutely no punches.
